Parasol
Your witty, willful nature is highlighted today, and most likely will be brought out by the strange circumstances at hand, DARLA. Wear your most bizarre outfit because that's the kind of day it is - bizarre. Dress in such a manner that you are ready for a jog, a parachute jump, or a formal ball. Make sure you are mentally prepared for all of these types of events. More than one is surely going to come your way.

After being up twice in the night for 1:30 and 5:00 feedings, I don't feel that I'm going to be mentally prepared to blow my nose but I'll give it my best shot.

Today:
Take girls to swim class
Get girls ready for beach
Take Niko to vet while girls & M go to beach with [info]thats_ms_dragon and her family
Bring Niko home and join girls & M at beach
Home for evening!

Last night finally settled down. Made decent Thai food for [info]ef2p, we sat and talked almost the whole evening and I sent him home at a decent hour so he could get some sleep. Good thing since the kitten woke up twice crying for food. Good thing because Solveig made sure she was on our bed to protect us or standing guard at the bathroom door so the nasty mean kitten wouldn't escape.

Long night. *weak smile* But worth it if we can get him well, fixed and shot up.

Best get to it....need to leave here in 20 minutes.

Do you not want to use Advantage on them for some reason? For summer flea season, it's the only thing that keeps us going, for sure!

I'm the crazy cat lady - don't mind me ;)

no, I've been sitting here and hoping they would quietly go away now that they know they're not wanted. No, seriously.

Advantage today if I have time around packing and HW and stuff. at least the vet's only half a block away. (do I need to take them in, or can I just buy the stuff?)

Just buy the stuff :) Also, you can save money in a multiple cat household by buying the (large) dog stuff. It's the EXACT same formula, just more in each tube - and almost the same price for 5 times the medicine! Just get a little syringe (the vet will probably give you one) and mark off .8 ml (cats over 8 lb dosage) and suck that much into the syringe. The large dog stuff has 4.0ml per tube, if memory serves.

I've had this confirmed by multiple vets, pet-store employees, and my own research. The stuff lasts SO much longer, and SO much cheaper, this way.

Hmmm... I should call ARF (the place I've done fostering for) and see if they can help. At the least they may able to get free/low-cost vet care for the kitten(s) and mama ... Or you can call them, if you like. Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, I think it is.

((hugs)) I can't wait to meet the little guy :)

He is soooo adorable! He is gray/black and white. His fur is longish and he has the tufts of white hair curling gracefully out of his ears with the huge big blue eyes. (Yes, I know they're all blue at first. So were Marmie's and his are golden now.)

He hisses when you go to pick him up, but he doesn't bite or scratch and submits limply to petting and will then being to purr and purr and purr.
